FS: Garrett Kit with Upgrade

This is a modified version of the Garrett turbo kit for the Cobalt. It is the Garrett kit with a larger intercooler/charge piping and a larger turbo.

The setup comes with the following:
- Garrett GT3071R dual ball bearing turbo (oil lubed, water cooled)
- Cast Garrett Turbo Manifold
- Cast Garrett Downpipe Extension
- Aluminum Front Mount Intercooler
- Aluminum Charge Piping with Silicone Couplers
- Stainless Steel Braided Oil Lines
- Stainless Steel Braided Coolant Lines
- Turbo Heat Shield
- All Mounting Hardware/Gaskets/Line Fittings
- Forge Unos Boost Controller
- Vacuum Lines and T's
- PCV Filter (if you want it)
- AEM Dry Flow Filter
- Full 3" Exhaust (IF YOU'RE PICKING IT UP... see details below)

It does not come with the blow off valve, as I am keeping it. You will need to provide your own. It does not come with fuel injectors or spark plugs. It will fit both the auto and manual transmission cars.

This entire setup was around $4000 brand new. Under the agreement with the original vendor, I'm having the turbo replaced for a small fee. I figured a brand new Garrett turbo would help sell this.

I'm asking for a mere $2500. You won't find a better deal. This will bolt up to the STOCK downpipe location. You will not need to have any exhaust work done. You will need the appropriate MAF sensor mount installed in the charge piping. You will also need to have the fitting for the oil return installed in your block.

I have more pictures as well as videos of this setup running on my car.

EXHAUST:
If you're local to me, I'll give you my custom 3" exhaust if you want it. It'll include a catless downpipe and then a full 3" exhaust with Magnaflow resonator and Magnaflow muffler. It's all stainless steel. Bolts up to the stock manifold location (and Garrett manifold location), and has the downpipe-to-catback flange at the stock location as well. Free addition to the full setup if you're local. I'm not going to bother shipping it, so if you can't pick it up, don't expect it.

Very, very clean looking. Out of curiosity, why did you decide to put your air cleaner there instead of down in the wheel well?

Well if you look at how the charge piping is run, it goes around the motor and down into the fender through the hole where the normal intake would go. This was done in order to fit larger charge piping without wrapping over the motor like the normal Garrett Kit. With that said, there was no room to route the intake piping down into the fender.

It's intercooled anyway, so it really doesn't make a HUGE difference in temperatures. Space is at a premium in the front there, but I'm sure you could fit it down into there somehow if you really wanted to.

Yes, pretty much. As stated, you'll need a few small things, so this isn't a two hour deal. But it's something that could be done on a Saturday if you're handy and have some help around.

Something about a kid that lists "7 color LED underglow" as a modification trying to make fun of this setup while having a wet day dream about his factory-stock turbo setup just sounds funny. lmao.

And to MySSisFaster, this WILL fit a 2.0L. The only thing you'll have to change is your intake manifold setup. You'll either need a different manifold or an adapter plate. To be honest, take this setup, add a Vulcan intake manifold, 3" exhaust... turn up the boost... you're over 300whp easily.

Oh and I did forget a part originally. I added it up above. Forge Unos boost controller.

Depends on how much boost. I'd say you could go anywhere from 230whp up to well over 300whp on this turbo. The turbo supports over 400HP per the charts.

What size fuel injectors would this need at minimum? Or would it run on the stock 2.4L injectors?

I don't think I'll ever be parting it out. What parts were you interested in?

I don't think stock injectors will be big enough for even the minimum boost levels. You'll need 42.5# injectors.

Also...
