ok guys i have started planning another BBQ meet for the NY tri State area. It is going to be AUG 22 at Bowdoin Park in poughkeepsie,ny. So i need to get an idea on how many people would be interested in coming. Last year i did this and we a good turn out. i think in total we had 20 or so cars, but i think we could do alot better this year. So let me know if are intersted in coming and how many people and cars are coming with you. Also please if you are going to drink make sure you are of age. i will have an alcohol permit.

we will be on one of the lower soccer fields. so plenty of parking for us. this will be from 9am-5pm when they kick us out. here is the address for the park.Dutchess County Bowdoin Park 85 Sheafe Road, Wappingers Falls, NY 12590

our location is going to be all the way at the end of the park. (see map) when you drive down through the park you will see a dirt road. we will be down that road along the tree line. i will be there first thing in the morning to set up. park opens at 9am.



When you put your name on the list please let me know how many people are coming with you or if you are bringing any other cars. Also i ask for people to bring some food or drinks so one person isnt responsible for everything. i will bring 2 pop-tents and 2 grills. and i am paying for the reservation and permit.

dude than drive up here. its only an hour drive. some people drove further than that.

 

im in for going again....I think last year we had something like 35(maybe more) people on the list and only 20 showed up, so hopefully itll be a much better turn out this year!

and CC08 there was like 6 or 7 people from Long island that went last year, and like half of us lived in Suffolk County. itd probably be like an hour and half drive for you from the city

probably wont have any people in my car but im sure a decent amount of LI'ers will head up there again...And as far as food/drinks, ill def bring something, chips, drinks, whatever

 

Ill be there again. As far as people coming in my car not sure yet to far in advance but will let you know. Prob will bring a hero again

 

cool guys i know its pretty far in advance just seeing how many people are interestd right now so i can start to plan it and reserve a spot. when it gets alittle bit closer i will need a better number of people and what evryone will bring.

Sounds like fun. I have a wedding to go to the weekend of the 22nd in WA, but the 15th I think I would be able to do (depends on how long of a vacation I decide to take). I should know more as we get closer, so I guess put me as a maybe . But I'm looking forward to some great meets this season either way.
