18's will fit on an LS but with terrible wheel gap. If you get 18's, I reccomend you get lowering springs.

Wikkymaster has 18's on eibach springs, looks good.

yes that is with springs...but that was the first day, the settled a bit more but not much...plus my tires are 215/35/18 so make sure you get 215/40/18 or 225/40/18 just make sure its 40 not 35 cuz thats why my gap looks bad. the tires just arent tall enough. heres a few more pics

heres a good comparison to a stock ls

Exclamation

A 225/40/18 will be taller (just a weee bit) than a 215/40/18 but a 225/35/18 will be shorter.

Tire size is: Width in mm/ percent width sidewall height/rim size.

The first number is the width of the tire in mm.
The second number represents the sidewall height as a percentage of the tire width. Example: 215/40 has a sidwall of 86mm. 225/35 has a sidewall of 78.75mm
225/35 has a sidewall of 90mm
The third number is of course the rim diameter in inches.

For standard to metric conversions: 1 inch = 2.54cm = 25.4mm
Rember when calculating a metric wheel to a standard size in regards to total diameter you have to add the sidewall height 2 times.

Yeah ive heard and seen some insane balts with 20's but they were all SS's and for a 2.2l which i also have, i have heard that 17's are the best way to go so that you dont loose power and then just put sportlines or your preference on springs on your car and you should be set.

thats what im doing.

17' Enkei ZR-2 rims
Toyo Proxes S/T Tires
Sportlines

^^^ Best way to roll

20's will fit fine...most 20's for this car(there isnt much) have a lip on them and dont look big at all... Im going to be running 225/30/20 tires on mine...35 series are too tall (1.4 inch diff in diameter)
