Hey guys I'm heading up to Firebird on Fri to get some runs in. Bringing a couple buddies with me. Hope to see some of you guys there. I'll be showin up a lil late since I'm waiting for my girl to get out of work.
We'll be there around 9. It's better then nothing for me, since S.I.R doesn't have TNT for a couple weeks.

Keep us posted. I might not be able to make it because I am having some seriously dagerous traction issues under full throttle and need to beef up my rear suspension to keep the axle straight.

 

i wish i had some slicks to put on my project car to see what it can do up there.

 

I'm not gonna jinx myself with a time like eveyone else does, LOL. I'm just hoping to better my 14.2 on the stock pulley set up i had.

Steve I'll be up there for the weekend. Hopefully we can meet up and catch up for a bit.

 

if i went up there i might just break something! plus i have a lot of miles on my car now from driving up there a lot.

hey guys i know sportredss and pyskosteve are going to speedworld tonight i might just tag along. its not as busy as firebird and i get a lot more runs out there.

 

thats a long drive up there. that 190 miles one way for me and 3 hour drive!

Well I got 4 runs in for the night. 1st run was bad. I launched to high and spun 1st badly, but no wheel hop, 14.6@104mph w/2.6 60ft. Second run i did a lil better but bogged. Launched to low. 14.1@101mph w/ 2.4 60ft. Third run was same, 14.1@101. Last run was my best. Launched a lil higher, 13.6@105mph w/2.282 60ft. That lanuch could've still been better but it worked for the night. I didn't bring a helmet so I got kicked off, but they were closing anyways, LOL

All in all I'm happy with how the car did for the setup it has. I was gettin better at launching as I need more practice now. I'm gonna be looking into tires as I'm still on the stocks.

 

my best was 13.5 @110 60 was like 2.35 i having a lot of wheel spin in first and that is taking off from idle. this firday at sir there a test and tune i will try to be there. maybe i can do better of the line there. plus my turbo is making a whine noise.

 

I didn't know S.I.R was this Friday. I'd like to try and make it. Not to sure as I still don't have a helmet and not sure if I can afford one this week. Your MPH was really good. I really didn't like the Neo-Gen's for traction. You should get something better.

Sucks about the turbo. Hope it don't go out.

 

yeah i need to find something better for tires but i saving up for the compresser wheel upgrade right now.
