Seems like I'm the only Cobalt in the area besides two of my buddies, if anyone's from the west suburbs (Elgin, Schaumburg, Geneva, Hoffman Estates) hit it up here.

I live in Burlington, about 15 minutes away from Elgin. But you're right there aren't very many nice Cobalts around this area.

I live in lake in the hills and i have a couple of buddies that live in crystal lake with ss s/c's. were planning on going to the meet in April

I live in gurnee right now and always lookin to meet new people. I'm going to be moving down around schaumberg area in a couple of months as soon as my lease is up in the shit hole I'm at now. PM sometime

You've got a bunch of us in the South Chicagoland--Matteson, Park Forest, Chicago Heights, Monee areas. Couple meets coming up in the next month or so keep an eye open we'll all meet up eventually.

you guys should come to Byron one day this summer with some of my friends(SSEi, Stage 2 WRX) and me.

We should do a mini meet at sonic on Randall in Algonquin when the weather gets a little warmer.

yeah, lucky me..lol. I was here before I got My first Cobalt. I knew I was going to get one even before they were out. I actually came over from the J-body.org site. (Cavaliers and Sunfires) I should have signed up long before, but there wasn't a whole lot of good info here right away. I found out more from the J-body site.

I did a quick check of my blind spot before changing lanes but I guess I didn't see you until after I moved over. I felt kinda bad for the next ten minutes. If it wasn't you then it was another Orange SS.

Haha yeah around here it seems the base models are most common. I'm just glad that those who DO have SS's aren't those annoying stuck up types. You guys are all cool =)

There is nothing wrong with a base models. But having an SS is nice LOL.

I HAVE a base model, haha. But unfortunately for my baby, I test drove a red SS Turbo. Now it's a race to get the car paid off in a year and trade it for a used SS turbo. They're only like, 19k.

Looks like the only mods I'm gonna do now is springs and exhaust

Raced a black Cobalt Sport two nights ago when it was raining, was that anyone here?

anyone around the chicago area feel like helping me install ottp stage 1 & perhaps maybe even they have hp tuners? i was going to do it all in iowa but i'm getting itchy for my SS so i think i might bring it up here w/out installing the ottp stage 1 yet. idk we'll see if anyone can help me or not

i dont live there...but i was in schaumburg over the weekend and saw 2 cobalt ss NON supercharged cars in the woodfield mall parking lot....

You know, all the Cobalt Sport models I see are drive by little high school girlies. wtf, haha
