Because I have had so many inquiries in PMs about the projectors I figured i would do a general update in our forum.

We were told the projectors would be available in late April/ May. Im guessing for the first few months these were available, most manufacturers were guaging interest to see how popular and how many of these they could possibly sell. If they overproduce them and then they dont sell, they are stuck with massive inventory. This has happened with many of the cobalt products including hoods and kits which is why many of these items are back ordered and there is a wait for them. For instance, from what we have researched with the hoods...manufacturers made a set amount of product which wound up sitting in their warehouses for months. No one purchased a thing...then...all of the sudden, with the opening of our site and others coupled with tax season, their stock was completely bought out all in one shot. so the dilemma is that they have to go back into production and that happens to be the most time consuming part of the whole process.

at any rate, I currently have a set of black projectors for my own cobalt which i am using for my show car. as with all of our products we order and test fit everything before we sell to the public. as far as price is concerned i do not yet know what they will retail for. What i can tell you is they look very nice, i was actually surprised. The pics dont really do them justice. i didnt really like them in the pictures online but def. think they look hot now that i have them in my possesion!!! cant wait to finish my car ;-)

When we get our first shipment I will let everyone know or might be able to start a pre-order so we know how many sets will move right off the bat so we can keep them in stock and not have to worry about running out.

right now i WISH i could show you pics of what my car looks like....lemme just say its hard to even recognize it anymore...its completely stripped from front to back with the new kit installed and going into the last phases of body work. From what i have seen and heard its been a challenge and will definately give bob mull a run for his money when finally done. LOL...just playing, bob mulls cars are just wicked.

It has been an extensive/ expensive overhaul but well worth it from what i have seen and its not even done. i have never been so excited in my life to have my car back.

we are trying to finish up before sema IAS which is April 8th which is where i am praying that i will be able to debut the car and possibly come home with a best female ride or 1st place GM but i already know the competition out there and in both catagories its intense so id be happy to place at all. so April 8th i should have pics and also some of you might see them up close and personal if the car is done.

ill def. work on getting some up but they wont be black anymore since we have painted the car and are in the process of modifying the headlights as well.

i didnt expect it to be taking as long as it has with this car. i know that there are definately people who have them installed. in the member gallery there are black projector installs i believe.
ill work on getting more information for you from ken today. i aplogize for not staying on top of this thread as ive been so damn busy with work and personal stuff.
