NGalaxyTimmyo 03-27-2006, 11:14 PM those door stills look really good. I kept waiting to see them in the car. Any chance I can convince you to take another pic of them from maybe another foot back, with the whole door in the picture?

they are from Jared on here. I got them too, and am not very happy with the fitment. I also put some red vynil underneath. I have extra if anyone needs some. Prolly enough for red eyelids too. Not sure if it matches the victory red perfectly, but it's red. If someone wants some for the doorsills, or the piece i have left, let me know.
I like most of the pics, but I think you should get new rotors, or paint the ones you have. they just look odd red calipers and rusty rotors.

NGalaxyTimmyo 04-09-2006, 10:00 PM So what did you use for the chevy symbols? I could see just paper being left under the paint, and cardstock not sticking...
ExHondaMan 04-09-2006, 10:07 PM haha yea we used to refer to it as a shoe, impregnated roller skate, or overpriced electrical problem...
I work on Mercedes for a living.....From my experience most german cars are exactly what I put in bold.

NGalaxyTimmyo 04-10-2006, 08:06 PM hmm, thats a great idea. I don't know why that didn't come to my mind. hmm... anyways, I finished my first two calipers, and I think they look really good. I can't wait for wednesday so I can finish the rear two.

my sill covers were in excellent condition when i got them. they were packed so good it took me about 15 minutes to open em' up. my 2.4 is an auto as this is the commuter car of the family, although if i had to do it again, i would probably get the 5 spd.
joeworkstoohard 11-14-2006, 01:33 PM yes....alot of money went into that car and we gave it away for $18k
if you got 18k for an M-coupe, you got the better end of that deal. around BMW circles, thats the going rate for a PERFECT m-coupe.

Cobalt443 11-14-2006, 02:09 PM Please tell me the hood scoop emblems are aftermarket and not OEM...

splink 11-14-2006, 02:10 PM i saw that...thanks for the info, that might have to be a christmas present to myself!

Nope...I didn't have any fitment issues what-so-ever. The only thing that bothers me is that the leaves fall behind the lettering.....lol and they are a bit of a b*tch to clean behind there
splink 11-14-2006, 02:18 PM i hate leaves. i get them all through everythine in my car!
Cobalt443 11-14-2006, 02:28 PM i hate leaves. i get them all through everythine in my car!
Yea....Pennsy definitely has ALOT of trees...atleast the area I'm familiar with does
splink 11-14-2006, 02:41 PM when i sold my old car i was under the hood for a half an hour cleaning leaves out of it
i always park under trees too, no reason, just i dont have any other options where i live!

yea that does kind of suck. When I was house hunting...one of my main things was "no trees in the yard...at all" we did end up having one little one but we ripped it out with a friends truck.....lol
cawpin 11-15-2006, 08:45 AM actually they're vinyl...not emblems and yes they are aftermarket.....why?
LITER is spelled wrong. We're not in Europe.
Cobalt443 11-15-2006, 12:15 PM LITER is spelled wrong. We're not in Europe.
Ok buddy, you apparently have no idea where the car was designed or where it comes from and why it was spelled LITRE, so I'll just ignore you for now and let you think your "mad tYtE" spelling SkIllz PWN Yo!!
joeworkstoohard 11-15-2006, 07:36 PM LITER is spelled wrong. We're not in Europe.
GTOs ALWAYS had "litre' spelled that way. the GTO was pushed for it's euro flavor back in 196x. in fact, the original GTOs had the engine size on the fender in metric.
