So on my way home from class I drive past the dealership were I ordered my car and happened to see a car carrying truck with its flashers on next to the dealership. I looked in the lot and saw the beautiful four red bulbs on the back a silver car. I pulled in and nearly crapped myself when I realised that it was mine without a doubt. Silver LS Coupe, with ebony interior, with sport appearance package, sunroof, etc. It felt so good because my dealer told me it was going to be made today. But for once he was wrong and it made me happy. And there is really no way it isn't mine because it was the exact car and this is a very small dealership in a rurual area.

So hopefully tomorrow or the next I will be posting a plethora of pictures.
It feels so good.
Glad I have class tomorrow as to hold me over why the dealer gets things in order.

Great pics man. Congrats on your sweet ride.

If I may make a suggestion... take off that tacky front plate and replace it with something much cooler...

Yeah I forgot about talking to the dealer about the front plate. Just gotta find out what the deal in Wisconsin is about front plates.

And thanks for the compliments.

Congrats again....

How does it feel when you are shifting.... ?
Does it have a long thro or kinda short thro?
I have driven the Automatic.. BUT I want to know if the 5spd is a bit more preppy.. or if in throws you into your seat KINDA!?

and................ any night time pics of the inside.. Like if you were in the back seat taking a picture of the dash and steering wheel all lit up!?

The throw length seems to be about the same as my sunbird, which I would say isn't short. Everything is tighter than the sb but that is also 12-13 years old. The car does have some get up and go but again I am comparing to an old sunbird.
And I might be able to get some pictures in the dark a little later.

Hmmmm... I wonder I have an 88 Beretta that is a 5 spd. And the throw isn't that bad.

Congratulations! :)

Did you go for the Pioneer audio system by chance?

Yeah I have the 7 speaker and the mp3 player. No XM as I mainly only listen to CDs anyways. The sound is rather nice. It sounds so weird being in my car and being able to actually hear things like cymbals and random other sounds. At first I was confused as to what the noise was because I am used to horrible speakers that were in my sunbird.

Done and done. I took these shots at low resolution because I figured it didn't matter that much. But then I forgot to set it back to 3MP for the macro shot of the stick, which looks sweet I might add. Also I caught one as it was changing to warn me that it might be icy. Funny because I am in a heated garage but apparently the thermometer only reads when moving above 15 so it's last reading was before I pulled in. Also cool that it does that. And sorry about some of the blurryness, I really wasn't worrying too much about getting perfect shots. And (I know, long-winded) it looks like the DIC is customizable, I haven't toyed with that yet though. Damn, that average speed looks so sad, but a fair amount of the few miles were in town miles so...

Man you have a quick turn around!

The D.I.C. looks cool. I wish they didn't use DIC as the acronym

I feel so much better about the lack of gauges now.
BUT, does it show the battery voltage?
In any case, thats a sweet looking car.
Enjoy man!

Nice boat btw.

I like the Average speed too... 40. Sheesh, all of the ones on my lot are like 15.

Yeah I didn't see anything about battery voltage but the manual claims you can customize your DIC. How much I don't know because I haven't expiremented much with it.

And yeah it is a nice boat. My step-dad just traded in his old Bass Tracker and bought a nice 17" Lund with a Mercury 60 HP four-stroke tiller motor. Can't wait to go fishing in that.

And after a solid day of driving I absolutely love this car. The thing can really haul. I amazed at how fast I can get up to speed, of course like always I am comparing this to my old Sunbird.

NICE CAR!!!! i just got a price quote from a dealership in Omaha, NE. I love in Des Moines, IA... same car as your but with XM, and the orange color.... wow i hope i can get mine soon.... me wishes....

anyway the dealership is giving out free 10 year/ 100,000 mile warrantys for new cars..!!!

but i think it ends at the end of this month... grrrr

too bad i have to wait to get my graduation money in May....

they gave me a price quote of $16,775, it has 2,000 in options... so thats a little under 2,000 off its sticker price....

god i hope i can get this car... too bad its an automatic

anyway nice car man... i envy you
