These cars don't have a BOV its a BPV and is located on the turbo on the intake side.

what you would need to run one is new ic piping, and then you would need a bpv delete plate and it would be best to change your maf to your cold pipe but....its alot work for somthing that really only gives sound, I have a bov but now I am running high boost with a turbo swap in the near future!

or you can just slap one on new ic piping and not do a bpv delete plate or change maf, but either way, without a tune anything and everything you do to th car is pointless

You mean turbo upgrade? I would hope your '08 SS/TC came with a turbo to begin with, lol.

It is built into the turbo, called a BPV. Many get the Hahn block off plate, and use a Synapse BOV, on a set of charge tubes (Hahn or any other brand)

You should re route the air from the BOV, back into the intake system, they you should not have any issues

Are people still having problems with not putting the "blown" off air back into the intake stream even with a tune?

It is not "flanges" it is a silicone setup that will allow the air to travel back into the intake system, as it is discharged... Just like the Pontiac solctice system does (Hahn product)

The ones to have issues have the stock ECU (no tune) and are venting to the atmosphere, it is best to re route back into the intake system.

haha its fine to get it if you have plans on uprgrading your turbo but if you plan on leaving it stock for the most part i see it as kind of pointless.
