Launch control/ no lift shift

Ok so a bought my 09 ss/tc about a month ago.. I just recently started playing with the launch control and no lift shift. When I'm in launch control I have no boost at all. Yes I'm holding down the gas so you guys don't call me a tard...lol. Is this normal? And then when I'm ATTEMPTING to no lift shift the car just red lines, and yes it in competitive mode. Its probably because I'm not shifting fast enoungh.

you have 2-3 tenths a second to shift befor it redlines...should not be a problem just practice...i feel the 2-3 shift is the easiest with the no-lift and 1-2 is the hardest this is just my opinion.when you do it correct it feels very nice

as soon as you start launchen the boost should raise, i believe...

It's launch control not a 2 step it's not going to build boost under LC. NLS, you have to be very quick and close to redline to do it. Should hear 1 backfire after it and a nice surge of power!
