VQ35DE 03-15-2005, 05:44 PM The engine is RPO-LE5. BlueVillain 03-15-2005, 06:01 PM It will come standard and is only available on the Cobalt SS (not SS/SC), available in either a Coupe or a Sedan. From what I've read it will be around 170 hp. Villain avro206 03-16-2005, 11:38 AM good news. Hard to believe that it was going to be auto only when the HHR can get a manual with the 2.4L. I wonder how much cheaper the NA SS will be compared to the S/C SS. I'd guess 2K maybe a bit more. cs_88 03-17-2005, 01:43 AM good news. If GM was smart they would price the coupe to be competivite with the scion tc. SS SCHGD 05-13-2005, 09:52 PM So I can get a SS for 06 with pretty much all the options as I wanted (I think) Sunroof, Smaller Spoiler, Premium Sound, Color Choice (Majestic Amethyst) Five Speed, G85 Package? Anyone know if There is something coming out soon from GM for the 2.4 to make it forced induction? I would consider purchasing the SS if I can get a S/C for it from GM (like the Cavy's 2.4) Or am I better off with the SS/SC and getting it painted and the spoiler changed after I buy it? Thanks for any help. avro206 05-14-2005, 10:13 PM So I can get a SS for 06 with pretty much all the options as I wanted (I think) Sunroof, Smaller Spoiler, Premium Sound, Color Choice (Majestic Amethyst) Five Speed, G85 Package? I seriously doubt the LSD will be on the NA SS. It should be but GM isn't always the sharpest crayon in the box ;) Myself I thing the 2.4 L SS will come with too much standard equiment. Give me A/C, cruise the Pioneer stereo and keyless entry is all I want. SS SCHGD 05-25-2005, 10:25 PM I am sure I will be test driving a few before I choose, but thanks for the info...I hope I can get all my options on either.... |
