CF Hood ?

Alright, I am thinking about getting a CF hood for my car. The main reason is because my hood has tons of chips in it from rocks, and a Cf hood is cheaper than having my stock hood repainted. My question is, will the CF hood chip from the rocks? Thanks for the input

its possible for it to scratch .. but I think the biggest problem on CF hoods is the enormus wait

It won't chip, it will crack. At least that's what happened to me.

I got a little chip but its like in the clear coat. I got that little chip going down a highway and a tractor trailer threw it up after running over the ripple strips along the highway

I live in NJ. There are lots... I mean LOTS of potholes around my area. It's all caused by the salt from winter and little pebbles are always surrounding those potholes. Cars throw them up. There's nothing you can do except buy a bra.

Oh and the plow trucks also have a major roll in tearing up the roads.

Yeah it's not a huge crack. And it's only on the coating of it. I was pissed but i'm not too worried about it.
