Yeah something is not right with that gap. I suppose a guy could just get a few more gaskets in there or something. Sorry, but I don't have exhaust pics right now, and I'm far from the car. Here is one from the CIA site:

Thats a poor weld on your right side flange (looking at the pic) If the flange is not tacked evenly before welding the whole circumferance the metal can distort and pull to one side. That is why there is a gap on one side of the two flanges and the otherside is pinched in. This puts uneven stress on the gasket and can dammage/crack the gasket. There is alot of spatter on the right hand side as well.

BTW I dont have this set up but it looks low to me.

No offence to you or anyone who has this but they (ZZP) should just make it right the first time. By doing that, after a while you will get stress cracking at the welds.

it is driving me insane. I can't put my sportlines on in fear of ripping the exhaust off. I don't know what to do.

Catless yes but the resonator is part of the catback not the downpipe. Most exhaust sound shitty without resonators

Thats great. I still need input. I know there are tons of people on here and all I'm looking for is some suggestions. The pics are there for all to look at and give their opinion. I really need this issue fixed as i have sportlines waiting to be installed. I need an alignment badly but i don't want to have to get one twice so I'm waiting for the sportlines to be installed.

Well that seems like a big resonator to me, but it seems to be hanging correctly. Im thinking you may have to make the best of it man. I would post a pic but it wouldnt do you any good since I dont have a resonator
