Deal Or No Deal = Ss?

so i currently drive the 05 cobalt LS and i decided today to go back to my dealership to figure out some prices on an SS. I get there and noticed a sweet lookin yellow ss that was stickered to 22. we talk some figures and i drop him down to 19,500. i then forgot to tell them my dad works for GM so he gets his discount. then the ****** comes back out and says o that 19,500 is with the gm discount, i was like woah woah woah buddy u just stated it was 19,500 regularly, so now the discount comes off not before. so with a apr of 5.6 costing 19,500.

do you guys think.....DEAL OR NO DEAL?

its basically the 2006 SS, yellow, yellow inserts, no lsd/recaros
sweet lookin black pinstripe across side, and the darker SS rims.

you should hold out for the SC loaded. I paid 21385, recareos & power sunroof.
You'll be happy even if you pay a lttle more.

i have two options...

or

buying the kit, in which id have to continue driving my car which will lose its clutch soon and has more wear and tear on the engine due to the fact is was my first stick car and i beat on it here and there.

the SC was a stretch for me too. About to make my first payment. But it is so worth the way it makes me feel. I will scrimp for a stage 1 or 2 kit for a little more power & then mod the outside with racing stripes & a blackout kit. then go for some springs for better handling as well other mods on ther handling side. Figure it will take me a year to get all the mods I'd like.
How about you plans down the line?

5.6% apr!? For an SS/SC? As far as the finance rate goes, thats great! Here in PA, im looking at an SS/SC but no one will even whisper a figure below 7.0%! Im waiting till April 5th because i figure thats when GM will release their new months rates/rebates/special offers, seeing as how their march maddness event ends on the 4th.

I paid about that much with my Grandpa's GM discount. If it's what you want and you can comfortably afford it, why not.

You say SS and if you mean SS\SC then go for it. An SS is okay but seeing that I have not driven anything but a SC one I am not able to compare the two.

The GMS price is a set price for each car. Your dealer can not offer you anymore or less for that car. You also get any rebates and promotions just like a regular buyer. I work for GM and just bought my SS/SC 3 weeks ago. Sticker was 24 and some change. I paid 19 and some change. Remember the more options on the car the bigger the discount. As far as I know there are no rebates or promotions for the SS/SC only on the LS/LT/ and Base SS no supercharger.
