Sport Lines BLOW

Im not one to rant about something bad but ill never by anything from eibach again. I put sportlines on my 05 cobalt 2 summers ago. We last week i noticed my rear end was sagging and i could hear my car rattling. I take it to the shop to find out that BOTH my rear springs had blown. They didnt just crack. They both had completely broken in half. When looking at my springs up close they are hollow on the inside. Idk if they're supposed to be but that seems fishy. Either way i mailed them back to eibach and let them know what happened. They offered to pay to have my old springs put back on. HA kiss my @ass, keep your $100.

Lets see the pics...

Also, Eibach springs have million mile warranty. To me it sounds like your springs must have been improperly installed. Why else would you be the only on this forum to have this happen.

Eibach Million-Mile Warranty.

Eibach Springs: Quality Unsurpassed
Dominate the track. Rule the street.
Eibach makes the finest performance springs in the world. Period. When other springs sag, wear out, or create sketchy handling or a bone-crushing ride, top street tuners—like top race teams, from F1 to WRC, from Le Mans to NASCAR—inevitably turn to Eibach. And, also inevitably, wonder why they didn´t choose Eibach in the first place.

-They almost make valve springs for military ship engines.

Agreed, plus we have never heard of Eibach stating they will pay you to put back on the stock springs? If anything they would replace your bad springs (upon providing a legal reciept)

Had Eibachs on my 535 for 5 years now, 110,000 kms, riding and handling like new. Gonna be doing the same to the 'Balt when the time comes to drop it

Something smells a bit fishy here.........

I think there is something else behind this. Any change in driving habits? Are your Struts or shocks still good?

When I read this I had to read it 3 times cause I wanted to make sure I read it right cause this was a ....what the?

Pics or ban.

And if they offered to pay to put your stockers back on, whats the issue? **** breaks all the time, and the company is willing to pay to put someone else product back on your car and you think youre being screwed?
