A intake will wake it up, as will a ported blower, or running a smaller pulley.

intake, porting, plugging the silencer holes, smaller pully,
thats about all you can do to make the whine louder
the intake will make the biggest difference, followed by plugging the silencer holes and porting. A smaller pully will make a small difference as well

Intake then pulley; if you're still unsatisfied consider plugging the holes, but only if you know what you're doing.

people use this stuff i think its called quicksteel and the it can fall out of the holes if not done correctly and it will fall into your motor and that will be very bad

If you do it right there will be no problem. I've had it done for over a year, been in 100+ degree temps and below zero temps. No problem.

It's all in the prep and materials used.

bottom line the plugging of the holes is a matter of opinion. i dont believe a damn thing anyone says on here just because everyone thinks they know best. IN MY OPINION the plugging of the holes IS unsafe. done right or not its a risk that dosnt need to be taken... you not gaining **** for performance out of this mod so why do it... just for some sound? BAH!

if you want to pay for the intake get it by all means i plan to soon after graduation from college my build starts but cheapest way is to mod the airbox and just slap a K&N filter..look it up under modification forum and ull see step by step i did it in an hour and cost 30 bucks...it sounds close to the stage 2 whine
