HELP!!! meth tap and TBspacer

so i bought a TB spacer from a member here and i have a devils own meth kit.

i took a look at the nozzle and it doesnt look like theres anyway it fits in there.

anyone know something i dont? it seems as though the threading gets smaller as it gets closer to the inside diameter of the ring. also there is no threading for an 1/8 inch on the iniside hole????

what the heck do i do????

thank you

You need to get a different type of nozzel.

http://www.alcohol-injection.com/noz...31bebbd99dc36a

You need the outside mount type.

with the throttle body spacer you must use an outside mount designed nozzle, such as the devils own DO series. the the threads in there are 1/8" pipe thread. pipe threads taper, meaning they arent cut as deep the further in it goes.

That wont work with the thickness of his TB spacer. There would be no way to connect the nozzle to the check valve.

I am really not sold on Meth injection. I have a devil's own progressive meth kit and was running a 5gpm nozzle. I never got to finish tuning for it.

But my local performance shop told me that they did not see any hp gains with Meth injection unless the mixture was 75% meth or higher.

What I might try is running a 1gpm nozzle and only run water on low pressure. Just so I can get some of the cooling effects. But I have not made up my mind yet.

you cant run a tap through, if you did, nothing would ever seal and it would be a nightmare. order an outside mount nozzle and itll work great.

7gpm is too much. devils own has a calculator for nozzle size, with a 100psi pump (wich most are rated at 150 and over that with small nozzles) it calls for 3.8gph. taking the pump pressure into consideration, a 3gph should be about right.

i myself run a 2gph nozzle with 30% meth. every time i post anything more about my setup i get attacked, so ill refrain from giving more details.

WTF!!! jk

Yeah its been a touchy subject around here for the last few months.

So far no one has dyno proven to make more hp with meth injection. I even think ZZP has a $1000 challenge out stating they can make more hp with out meth injection then anyone with meth injection on the same car.

So far no one has taken them up on the challenge.
