Ok i am planning on getting a new clutch when mine shits the bed. Ill assume this will be sooner then later considering i learned on teh clutch. i never burnt it or anything but i got shit luck. anyways this is my daily driver and i want to keep it for a long time. but i do want to throw a turbo on it for some extra power. i dont plan on doing anything huge. maybe going to 200-225 hp so i dont think i need to build the engine up or anything but when i do replace my clutch what should i be looking into and how long would that clutch last under normal conditions.

i dont wanna break the bank with this either. and im looking at the zzp turbo kit for 2k

For turbo applications I would suggest looking at the SPEC Stage 2+. It should last (if you drive well) a long time (50-100K miles) If you beat on it, it will not last as long... The stage 2+ will hold the power you put at it.

You dont want to go with a cheap clutch, as the price of the clutch is only half the cost... The other half is the install/labor to put it in... So do it once and do it right and save in the end...

Stage 2+ is very streetable...

You will either need to have your stock flywheel re surfaced or get a aluminum flywheel (spec to keep the same brands together)

Most just get the aluminum flywheel so they dont have to worry about trying to find a place to re surface and do it right...

I dunno you may want to look into the clutchmasters stg 3. After extensive research I decided on that clutch, and i picked up a Fidanza aluminum flywheel for a good price.
I am not going to put down huge hp #'s, but I just wanted a really long lasting, semi-aggressive clutch. the stg 3 is for cars up to 300 or so hp.

my second choice would have been an Exedy.. tried and true!

However, any way you decide to go, I would def recommend a new flywheel! They can be surfaced, but who trusts someone to do it perfectly?
