This is the better bag and will work well. It should keep all of your products spout up which will prevent them from spilling all over the trunk. It's wide enough so that it won't just tip over as well. And it looks big enough to hold just about anything in your package and then some. I'd say use this as part of the package.

Turbo Wax L.V.R - what does it do?

Turbo Wax Leather, Vinyl and Rubber is a product capable of protecting all 3 surfaces!
This formula protects extremely well on all 3 surfaces, without the need of additional products while providing a UV barrier that prevents premature cracking, fading and hardening.

The surfaces we have listed that the product can be applied to are subject to UV rays, and this is what the biggest enemy of these surfaces is. Technically what you are doing is applying a coating to the surface that does two things, (1) as mentioned it gives a protective coating to protect against the suns UV rays which causes deterioration of the surface. (2) It keeps the surface soft and supple, unlike most products on the market which after a while causes the surface to dry out become brittle and start to dry crack.

1. Would I need to machine buff the swirl remover?

Turbo Wax Swirl Remover works like a fine polish when used with a fine foam pad and works like a light rubbing compound when used with a more aggressive foam pad.

How does it work?

The abrasives gradually shrink in size under the friction of the pad until they completely disappear. Selecting the correct polishing pad helps determine how quickly the abrasive break down into fine polish. This diminishing abrasive action allows the paint to "buff out" to full gloss without hazing. This product contains millions of tiny white abrasives that gradually disappear under the friction of the pad. The abrasives gently wear down the sharp edges of the scratch or swirl until light no longer catches on them and they become level with the surrounding paint. Because swirls are very shallow scratches, it only takes a little blending to level the swirl with the surrounding paint. As this occurs, the abrasives gradually vanish. Within seconds, the abrasives melt into the lubricants and your paint is left swirl-free.

Swirl Remover works best when applied with a polisher. Polish with a light cutting pad on your Porter Cable 7424 dual action polisher. Start at a speed of 5 and use moderate pressure to go over a 2 x 2 sq. ft. area. Work up and down, then side to side to ensure optimum coverage. Buff using a Turbo Wax super Flush Microfiber Towel.

2. Will I need to use any other product after swirl remover or go directly to pre-wax/wax?
go directly to pre-wax/ :)

Same with me with a couple friends and co-workers; for some reason they think my money is disposable and that my TC is a test bed . Now I'll keep my fingers crossed the box makes it from FL, through customers and to my front door (more like the Post Office until I pay the duty I'm sure I'll owe :)) without getting beat to hell...I swear they play football with some of the deliveries I've received coming cross-border as of late, the box is more like a diamond by the time it gets here .

We ship united postal service, for this packages we are using 'Priority Mail" at no extra cost, we were purchasing the "Confirmation" until yesterday that we found out that the "Confirmation “ONLY" appears online after the person has received the package which don’t do us any good, Then we were told that if we purchased the "Insurance" we could be able to follow the packages, so we did, problem is that doesn’t appear online at all!

Soon we may change to UPS,the problem with that is the cost which we then have to pass to our customers which I don’t want to do.

Yours is on the way do.

Permafried-
04-20-2009, 10:50 AM
Hmm...I'm going to have to ask my roommate to keep an eye out when he's home over the next couple weeks 'cause they might just leave the delivery on my porch depending on whether duty is due or if they don't feel like dropping it at the pickup location :).

If you're considering switching means of shipment, perhaps a good plan would be to offer customers a choice how they wish to ship. Your order web form could be modified relatively easily to present options (ie. USPS, UPS, etc.) and even express versus normal delivery...that way it's completely up to them how much they'd like to spend to get the shipment through :).

Ran to the mailbox like a kid in a candy store last night and sure enough my pickup slip had arrived! Picked up the package from the local depot and my charge was only $11.50 which was for Provincial and Federal sales tax as well as the Customs Handling Fee (ie. opening my box and making sure it's not drugs ) so looks like marking it as "gift" does the trick :twothumbs!

Thanks again for your help with getting the order and shipment setup, and as soon as I can give 'er the full treatment (looking into buying a Porter Cable so the swirl remover might have to wait for a bit) I'll be sure to put together some pics of the results :-D.
