This is 6 light coats of VHT night shade, a few hours of cut polishing then 2 coats of clear coat, i still need to do another cut polish but it was getting too late to start that.

It looks darker in person, i wasnt going for a black look because i dont need to be harrased by cops, and yes i still need to do my third brake light lol:

Yea it was my first time ever doing something like this so i was really light with the coats so i didnt screw up. But my car is already black with tinted windows, i just wanted the tail lights to be darker to help with the black look but not actually black them right out.

 

looks great! but imo i like the reverse circles to be cutout

lol once was enough for me, that took hours to do. Did a lot of cut polishing to give it the facotry shine instead of a dull look

if i was going for a full back out then yea i would have probably cut them out but since i wasnt doing that, i think it looks fine the way it is.

ya just a tad. i went 4 months without tinting my 3rd and my tails were completely black lol. it looked funny as **** but i didnt want to get pulled over. then after the 4 months, i said **** it

Looks good man, and like mentioned before that must have been really light coats lol. My lights are BLACKED out. One of the darkest iv seen on this site and I have gone through countless license checkpoints, and been pulled over for speeding and never once had anything said to me about tail lights. I have had cops behind me several times that have just gone around and never said anything.

 

Where can I buy VHT in Canada? and to the op you did a nice job, not too light and not too dark!
