What kind of Down pipe do you have, w/ cat? And what exhaust, I think it sounds pretty good.

you are correct on size, i have heard that too. But i also heard hotter air needs more room but as the exhaust fumes move to the end of the exhaust and cool it is good to go down in size

I always thought that would create a bottleneck effect kinda like if you turn a 2litre upside down and try and pour it out as fast as possible, it gets caught up at the neck of the bottle

yes but if you dont have enough air to maintain good air flow w/ full 3 inch, smaller piping at the end improves exhaust velocity

no doubt that it sounds great. most people just dont realize why it makes the car sound like a subaru.

just out of curiosity, everyone why do you think a subaru has that distinctive sound?
