custom gauges

Ok guys I want to see everyones custom gauges, so post a pic of it and where you got it or how you made it! Any one can post a pic of their gauges

How hard was it to install their LED kit? I'm kinda warry about soldering on my gauges for fear of over heating the circuit board and frying them

you pull out the old leds with needle nose pliers and solder on the new ones with eletricial solder really small solder

^^^thats not the greatest idea to do it like that. your better off just taking the soldering iron and touching the back of the stock "led" where it is soldered and just removing it when the solder is "liquid." Then just replace.

I heard by doing it that way you run a risk of gettin the circuit board too hot and screwing up the gauges tho...i'm a soldering noob, so i'd prolly end up doing that lol

You would need to hold it on there for awhile.

It is easier to damage the circuit board by doing the pliers trick since you could possibly take some of the circuit with the solder that may rip off.

ive done it to 2 dif gage sets and both are still fine
i would think ripping them off would be bad
