I have the ark exhaust. It sounded like **** when i had my supercharger still on and no cat, but now with the turbo on, it sounds really good. Deep and mellow. It don't look that bad. Check my vB. Since it's only 2.5" i'm selling it. $250 + shipping.

im not honestly impressed with any any of the exhaust systems that are out for this car. none are really deep and throaty like i would like them to sound. im thinking about trying out an hks carbon ti muffler and going from there with a catless downpipe and straight pipes all the way to the muffler.

I had to read this like 3 times...I'm not sure if I'm THAT tired or not but from what is sounds like your "not honestly impressed with any any of the exhaust systems that are out for this car. none are really deep and throaty like i would like them to sound". But you want to put a cat-less down pipe WITH straight pipes to a rice cannon? --And you think that will sound "deep and throaty"?

Hmmm... What is this deep & throaty you speak of? Shouldnt we keep this "PG"?

Or Perhaps get 4 more cylinders and then we can talk deep throaty exhaust.....

im not looking for exactly the deep and throaty exhaust that i get out of my camaros or vette. just something that doesnt sound like a tin can is being thrown on the back....oh and hks makes quality exhausts for the evos and the sti and is a well known brand.... i guess everyone that puts the hks ssqv is a ricer too being that its a jdm product? clear image is actually the one that suggested getting rid of the resonator(which will leave straight pipes) to achieve a deeper drone and a different muffler then the magnaflow they offer..

Oh really? My ARK N2 has been on my car since November 2006. Since then, i've clocked roughly 60,000 miles on my car, and its held up just fine. Sounds great, looks great.........I fail to see how its "by far one of the worst exhaust out there..."

Unfortunately no. But I also have the CA v1 header and an XTC 2.5" de-cat downpipe. It VERY loud and sounds amazing I get compliments on the way it sounds all the time.

you think that exhaust would give me what im looking for. im leaving the stock intake manifold since everyone says it flows oh so amazing and going with a catless downipe and maybe a cut out.
