Weathertech Floorliners - worth it?
Weathertech Floorliners - worth it?
Does anyone else use Weathertech's Floorliners? These are the "digital fit" specially made Floor liners that hug your carpet to prevent mud/rain from spilling onto the carpet.
My biggest gripe is that the lead time is about 2 weeks, and it costs $100 + $18 shipping for the front pair. Nearly $120 for a pair of floor mats! Some co-workers use them and swear by them, but $120 for a pair of floor mats!!! What say you?

Get Them!!!
I bought 2 sets,, One in Gray for the Coby and One in Black for the G5. Fit like a GLOVE! Best money you will spend. I understand the rears are in developement, but not available yet. Buy direct from the company,, NOT from a parts outlet!

based on my experience with generic, cut to fit mats sold under the weathertech name, i believe that the manual transmission only thing is probably because the mat extends up under the clutch pedal. the weathertech mats are much thicker than stock. you probably wouldn't have a problem, but that mat may restrict the last quarter inch of clutch travel
I have the Weathertech mats; the company is close to my office so I just headed over there at lunch one day.
They're thick and durable and will hold a LOT of water. And I've got the mint-condition factory mats waiting at home, so anytime I want the car to look nice, I can throw them in instead of the Weathertechs.

I have them. I love them. Only problem I have had with them is that they can be a pain to get clean, but are much easier once I got some advice from a friend on how to clean them. Other than that I don't have any complaints.
Oh geeze...what has the world come to...we are talking about how to shine up your winter floor mats...they are there to get dirty and keep it off of your carpet...wash them down after winter with water...they will get dirty again next year!
Basically you are protecting the entire floor area (fronts) with these things...small price to pay in my opinion as the carpeting in our vehicles probably won't hold out for long...ordered mine yesterday!
Ordered. Also ordered the trunk mat. Now if I could only find something to cover the back of the rear seat when it's folded down I'd be really happy.
