i started my eyelids about two days ago and im halfway done. here are some pics.

BTW ..Real carbon fiber 2x2 twill !!





in these pics you can see how bumpy it is. thats only after 2 coats of epoxy. got another 2-3 coats to go then sanding and well you know





i dont know if i like it too much with the front scheme i have going on.




it seems like too much of something. i dont know. ill wait till i get my rk sport cf hood and see how it looks. or maybe i should make the eyelids smaller. tell me what you think....

I am not a fan of eyelids. It would look better without, especially with projectors. If anything paint the projector housings black lol.

 

well im gonna get rid of the projectors. im doing painted stockers with them. check out the last pic.

i dont do fake. its 2x2 twill carbon fiber

that aint no led bar my friend. its individual leds i installed in the housing. check out my r8 mod pics 1 thread down in appearence.

 

Definitely, a little bit smaller with those stocker style headlights and I'd call it a day

 

just making sure cause it looked really glossy in the 1st pic then on the car was dull and lumpy looking

You need to do some more sanding on them to get a real nice finish. Other then that they look decent.

Well I made my eyelids smaller. Goes from the front corner were I previously had them to about where the headlights, hood and fender meet. In a straight line. I know it won't be that noticeable but will look good enough for when I get my cf hood and finish my r8 headlights. I'll post pics when I get home from work.
