Worst luck....car accident

So i have the worst luck with my car. Tonight me and my buddy went for a drive in Fredericton and we were doing 50kmh. There was 3 lanes on my side and then the grass divider and then the break in the grass so you can turn and go into the parking lot that was to my right. So im in the left lane because there was a set of lights about 20meters past her and i was turning left. So i see her waiting to cut through the on coming traffic (traffic i was with) and to my right the traffic stopped to let her through, which i didnt know at the time, looked like they stopped for the red light past her. And no word of a lie, i was like 5meters from her when she started to pull out, i slammed on my brakes and hit the horn...instead of trying to bolt it across (she might have made it, doubt it but maybe) she stops and i hit her around 10kmh...i was able to slow down that fast...if i didnt upgrade my brakes over the winter my car would have been writen off cuz the airbags would have went off for sure. So her car has a small dent in her front bumper. My front bumper by the left headlight is cracked and pushed in. My Gen 1 light is cracked. The small coolant leak is now a huge one and i loose all coolant within mins. Oddly enough when i finally stopped i didnt stall, but i ended up turning the engine off, i tried to restart to get out of the road and into a parking lot it had really hard time starting up and sounded fucked up.

So we exchanged info and i called the police once i got back to the base. they want me to come to the station tomorrow to fill out the paperwork and they will look at the car. Car is in a parkinglot about 1km away from Clarks dealership (the one i hate) I called the women tonight...she said she wants to talk to people because she admits shes at fault. But i tell you something, the brakes i got from TH Motorsports made a big difference. If i can get my hands on a camera ill post pics tomorrow of the damage

Man you've had some of some bad luck with that thing lately. Glad you never got hurt, and that there wasnt more damage. Hopefully shes looking new again soon
Oh ya if the airbags go off that dont mean its totaled, should see some of the wreaks that get fixed at work lol dont even know how I drive them in the shop

and we all know he will change his mind again because he loves that car too much to get rid of it...plus there is too much money in it to just "get rid of it"...it will be fixed back to normal again and then he will see how much he loves that car...and then he will think why he was ever thinking that

Wow, I'm glad you weren't hurt. At least you'll get a rental while the car is being fixed and the coolant problem will be fixed too. She admitted fault, so you don't have to fight with her. So, at least it's looking up somewhat.

Ok so abit of an update. I do have pictures but computer wont let me upload them to photobucket so ill do it over the weekend when i get home. So i went to the police station, talked to them. Police said she is at fault. Talked to the dealership and insurence company. They are going to get ahold of the women and her insurence company. Me and the guy from the dealership looked at the car and under it to see the damage to get a approx. value of damage. $3000. Bumper, stock heat exchanger, aftermarket heat exchanger, Gen 1 halo lights, 8000k HID and even my SS logo is all getting replaced. Thats what we can see, when they start taking things apart there might be more damage. But her company is paying for everything which is good. Actually im really happy about this cuz i get a new bumper....this one already was abit dinged up and has a license plate mount, the new one wont.

So when a car comes in ill be getting a rental until my car is done being repaired. Once again her company is paying for it.

yea, im going to try and talk to them about getting me the ottp heat exchanger, its cheaper and bigger then the cobalt addiction one...lol. In the pic of under the car, u can see a black piece of metal that is bent right by the hose. well thats suppose to be attach to the metal piece behind it, thats where all the coolant came pouring out

I'm always on base. if you come on base when its fixed and go to the K-Lines where all the tanks and whatnot are you will see my car parked there. Like florence said tho, right now its sitting in a bay at the dealership waiting for the go ahead from the insurence company to start ordering parts and they are waiting for me to get receipts for the aftermarket parts so they can order them as well.
