Help with figuring out my rough idle and misfire situation
My car has been misfiring alot lately and getting a really rough idle. This morning I changed out the fuel filter, reset the pcm, and added a bottle of lucas fuel treatment to the car. There was an improvment and the car is healthier running now but the issues are still there. At idle the car shakes, and my gauges will sometimes dim a little at idle. The spark plugs are gapped at 0.030 right now and are about a year old. I heard that copper plugs wear out quick but I didnt think it would be this quick which is why I am reluctant to change them out though it seems like the most logical next step since I dont have acess to any data logging software. Anyone else have idea's?
Yeah, for the most part the car runs fine at other than idle
last time i checked my plugs they didnt look wet at all. do you know whats causing the water?
just cleaned it about 8 months ago, i guess i could check it again, I do want to still flush my coolant and change my oil since when it was snowing a few months ago i lost a quart of coolant somewhere and after i refilled it it stayed ever since then but I was runnign the car really hard when it happend. I'm also gonna have to check my air filter. I think a failing fuel pump may also be a possiblity.

anyone know of a better plug I could be using, Im not too happy that these plugs barely lasted a year if they end up being the problem. When I looked at them they didnt seem fouled up and black, just normal usage to me but maybe something i cant see went wrong with them.
already tried iridium and it was terrible.
are those the same heat range as stock? Ive been thinking that the 1 step colder I have might not be neccesary.

anyone have any ideas about what might be wrong with my car. sprayed a 75 shot, traction control lights started flyin (was already going 60 so shouldnt have spn tires) and same with check engine and now its only runnin on 3 cylinders. think its the piston or rings or someting but havnt ripped it apart yet not lookin forward to it
if anyone knows or has had the same issue let me know send a private message or something thanks
clearly that discussion has been over for more than a month didnt think they would mind chief
and ment to put somethin in there about my plugs but forgot. jacka$$ at auto parts store gave me hotter plugs instead of one step colder

if you go to the dealer they claim the o-ring is part of the coil and your are SOL and need to buy a new coil. ****'em i say.
mine is idling rough too..i thought it was the plugs also so i replaced them..i brought mine to autozone cuz my check engine light popped on and a multiple misfire code came up..he reset it and it didnt come on agais since then but it is still idling rough as hell..this i was told it was an o2 sensor but i keep getting told its too early for that to go bad with the mileage i have
