Body kit MOD ????

Hey Guys I'm looking to convert my rear bumper and trunk lid to the coupe version that has the two round light from the oem style that has the triangular lights ........ if anyone has seen heard knows anything it would be a huge help

You thinking of going from
Sedan bumper to coupe. ?

Few have tried I think but I don't think it can be done

cant be done, where you mount your tails is different and would need to do alot of work to the frame.

yeah thats what am tring to do i've seen plenty of pics of the two different styles and the body kits look like they will match but its the trunk I'm really worried about cuz the coupe has that little lip on it and if i buy a coupe trunk i think i may have to cut it off ?????

am really curious as to how much work i have access to a junked 2 dr and the rear end is perfect

If you go with a coupe trunk, you gotta get the coupe bumper....not sure about frame fitment, my thought would be that it fits...but I've never seen under the bumpers before. You could always grab the parts and test em.

yeah i have a coupe bumper now and everthing lines up ok like the guy said above about the monts for the tail lights that maybe a problem but i think with a little bit of ingenuity and some good welding skills i can pull it off

very nice thats exactly what i want to do is it urs and if so how much did u pay am going to do most if not allllll the work myself

i didnt pay am just showing it can be done

he tailight mounting should be the same.......g5 coupe.......sedan(like) tails and bumper cover. should be fine

the mounts for the round tail lights arent the same mount as the triangualr ones so am guna have to cut out all the brackets and inner trunk plate and weld them into my car to replace the sedan ones its guna be a B@%^H
