Re: Parking Brake

Hey guys just had a question for you....I bought the 2006 SS 2.4 knowing full well about the parking brake and where Chevy decided to put it, like right under the arm rest....just wondering if there are any mods that I can do to fix it......really it is the only thing that is bugging me with the new car so far...any help would be greatly appreciated

Me neither. I am in habit to where I just pull the armrest up now when I park.

Tighten up your E-brake so it doesnt hit the bottom of the armrest. Thats my only problem... Or get an automatic.

its simple to pull up it only takes your finger tips and only needs a few clicks

Mine definately needs all the clicks rather than just a few. My brake is very weak. I never park it without it being in gear.
