Race Nite at Firebird 4/14/06 Cobalts/SS

The RL/Ion people would like to invite you to a meet.

As the topic says people. We are having a race nite on Friday April,14th 2006 a time has not been set yet, but i would suggest meeting at In-n-Out out by the track about 6:00 or so.

but that is up for discussion.

who's going, lets make a list.

My number is 928-699-3311, if anyone has questions or comments.

1. Adam(me,2.0ecoSC)

is it like a club meet, or race, or just a hang out and run your car thing?

i have't driven my S/C at the track yet, I wanna wait until i have at least 1000 miles on it. I drove my dads '03 ion 2.2 (conservative 5500 shifts) and ran 16.99@82.4.

well I ordered the Pacesetter header and it should be here on Tuesday, I just need to find time to install it some time between then and the 14th. Wanna help?

THEN, on the 14th I'm getting two wisdom teeth pulled so I'm not sure how I'm gonna feel...hopefully it wont hurt too bad cuz if I get this header installed before then I definitely wanna go.

You won't want to do **** after you get your wisdom teeth pulled. You're going to be bleeding with gauze jammed in the back of your mouth it sucks. Except when you're too high off the pain killers to care.

dammit thanks for the support

if my stupid wisdom teeth weren't growing in horizontally and pushing into my teeth in front of them, causing them to push into the teeth in front of those...causing them to become brittle and break half way off, this wouldn't be a problem.

yeah Viper I've removed an exhaust manifold before but the exhaust was on the other side of the engine bay and not jammed in by the firewall it shouldn't be too hard, just a matter of being able to reach all of the bolts.

Ok, sweet, since I will be installing mine on my car sooner or later as well, it will be good experience. Just give me a call whenever, sometime after 4pm, cause that when I get off work. I work untill 2pm on Sat, and have sundays off.

are you serious? i swear I didn't know that!

I got it for $183 shipped from Turbo Tech Racing...the armor coated piece, I thought I had a good deal.

alright Viper I might have to give u a call this next weekend. I probably wont be able to install it before then but I was gonna try...but since I'll be in serious pain I'll just wait.

but enough with the hijacking...how many people are going out to Firebird on the 14th? I'm curious to know what all you guys run.

i think you all should go no matter who else goes. b/c if it depends on if other people are going for everyone, then noone ends up going.

just make a decision for yourselves and go instead of basing your plans/lives on what other people are doing.

I'm in. Still going to meet about 6:00pm?
This will be the first time my wife and I go to a "Cobalt function", so I hope several others show up.
