Quick seat swap question

Going from '07 cloth seats w/ passenger airbag sensor to '05 SS leather (not Recaro) which I'm assuming doesn't have it.... can I take the sensor out of the seat and put it in the new seat? Yes, I searched.

bump

I got an 07' and I have some after market seats ill be putting in. But i would think that yes you can switch the sensor over. Also I think the 05' seats youll be installing are heated? How do you plan to wire that in aswell?

05-06 SC didn't have heated seats. Having said that, there is a connector under both my cloth seats at the moment for the heaters, but they're not plugged in obviously.

Yeah I dunno if the seat cushion just comes up and the sensor is under there or if it's like built into the cushion, in which case I'd need to get seats out of an '07+ for the airbag.

Yes you can just swap the sensor over. Everything lines up with modding the leather seat. I just recently did this as I sold my leathers and installed them on a buddies LS
