Not when it's doing it's job.

More grip = better numbers. Burnouts are cool, but mean little in a drag race.

probably had traction control on... and your gonna say that the 6.2 LS3 which is good for 400hp (and thats the less powerful auto version) has no bite????

TC really kills the ability to spin the tires

Auto doesn't get the LS3 and its 6.2L. Auto gets the L99

Good TC = no chirp. People are so eager to bash this car yet haven't seen what it can do first-hand, they listen to online videos. Wait until it hits the streets and then see how it does.

I think, the driver doesn't know how to drive the car, he is obviously in a crowded area, and has TC on. The Camaro SS has 4 levels of traction control. The car is also quiet, because many people want to drive a car and not hear the BLAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAP of a loud exhaust every where they go.
I call a fail on Mr. Angry's little test, because i have seen many a video of the 400 hp L99 (auto) and 426 hp LS3 (stick) driving, and IVER tests, and all show the car performing very nicely.

Not to mention this Camaro is the best built GM vehicle since GM started. This car has undergone so many quality control tests and evals it's not even funny. It IS the best built car GM has ever put out, even if it is on the quiet side, and n00bs can't chirp the tires in an auto on city streets.

You don't like it, stick your fart can where the sun don't shine.

You want a Camaro burnout video? Here.
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ejbh4...layer_embedded

Rev limiter much? Ouch??

Or how about Chevy Camaro SS Rips It Up with 13 sec 1/4 Mile!
Just like with ANY car, someone that actually knows how to drive, makes it do what they want!

you guys have obviously never looked into the torque management present in GM vehicles.

sat in it at the auto show and definately getting it now. The TC was on and in this car it does a good job from what i have read. So dont call a car weak until you actually drive it or see a video of it being driven right.

Yep, the G8 GT is a good learning/take-ideas-from platform, just the Camaro uses LS3 and L99 (auto)!
What the G8 GT and GXP have done, the Camaro will do better.
