Gonna get some new wheels I think!

Yep, going for set #3. First I had some 18" Enkei WDMs (sold to an ex-girlfriend), then i've been rocking 19" Axis Mods for the last 2 years or so. Well, the 19"s have just lost some of their shine over the past 2 years thanks to excessive daily commutes, harsh weather, etc etc. I mean don't get me wrong, they still look pretty good.....but even after waxing the face of the wheels and using Never Dull metal polish on the lips.....I just can't get them back to the whole "like new" look. So i've decided to go ahead and get the new wheels i've been wanting since last summer. I'm gonna take a $3,000 loan out to pay off another loan I have out thats slowly gathering interest + get the new wheels.

The new wheels i'm going to be getting are 20" Enkei LS-5's in solid gloss black. I've loved them since they came out, and since i've had 17"s (stock), 18"s AND 19"s, I figured what the hell, i'll go 20's. I'm gonna try to hit up the bank next Saturday and see what I can do loan wise. If I can get approved, i'll hopefully be ordering them soon.

20's are just to big IMO... very few Cobalts have been able to pull them off

They are nice wheels, and I like the fact they don't have a polished lip...

Don't take out a loan to get 20's. Get the LS-5's in 18's if anything. They will look bigger because they are all black. It's harder to tell where the wheel ends and the tire begins. 20's are just too big for a Cobalt. Your brakes will look tiny behind them! lol

Either way I can't afford to get new wheels outright, but I CAN afford to finance it. I can swing like $100 a month on a loan. And $1,300 for 20"s WITH tires, mounted, balanced and shipped to my door.......yes please.

Oh, and my 19"s will be up for sale, but local pickup only. Gonna look for $700 w/ the tires.

Trust me man, they're not minty fresh anymore. They have plenty of nicks, dings, chips, clearcoat is chipping on one wheel..........

I paid $2,000 for them two years ago, so i'll let them go for $700 in their current state.

Thats YOUR opinion. To me that looks ****** ill. This car's "speedy" days are gone. Its got 60k on the clock as of tonight. I take it nice and slow. I also do less driving than I used to. I have a nice little 20 mile commute to work, and I don't really go out on the weekends now that i'm single. 20"s is where its at for me.

Yup. And once I get the front lip I think i'll finally be satisfied with the outside of my car, lol.

Plus, everyone is always like "No man don't do it!" when I talk about selling the car. I think a new set of wheels would really help hold me over........at least for another 6 months or so......

At least if you bend a lip, it will be hard to see because they are all black!

Yeah, and this time around i'm REALLY gonna focus on upkeeping these. I didn't wax my old wheels as much as I should have and it shows

Its just hard keeping my car minty fresh when I drive it SO damn much.
