View Full Version : anyone interested in Pulley Made in CANADA?
ok it's done. Final size is 2.858" and the price is $140 CDN (AL pulley & S.S. hub). I've got it on right now and it rocks, although it starts slipping at 5k. I'm working on the tensioner pulley right now. Check out the pics:

K-Train04RL 04-06-2006, 12:19 AM if they work and fit w/ no hassel that would be great :D
memphisr24 04-06-2006, 12:28 AM $100 including hub!!!! That's a great price.
I'll test it on my car, if all good....then I will get more made. YOu can tell me what sizes you want or if you got stage 2...can make pulleys to fit that hub, just in case you want one for winter and another for the track.

ok, the 2.94 should be ready this week....the CNC guy still needs to give me a final price, but I'm making 10 pulleys and 20 hubs. The pulley will be aluminum anodized and the hub's gonna be stainless steel. My next project is to make a 2.7 without any grinding of the snout;)

what all do you need for specs?
what all do you need for specs?
I'll need all the dimensions (outside diameters, hole sizes, hole position) and with 0.001" accuracy. I'll see if I can get one to measure....but I could only get it made if there is enough demand.
mase where have you been, come to a meet in sauga will ya LOL.
I'm down for meets on weekends, but during the week only if it's right after work. This weekend we're gonna have a meet in Hamilton. I'll post a thread for it.

Pm me if you get some soon
knatsabooh 05-06-2006, 05:36 PM I'd be in for that. Probably a 2.8 PM me as well. Just a quick question, does changing this pulley void all your engine warranty? ya think? .
DanJHartman 05-06-2006, 05:57 PM lookin for a 3.0, however im wondering if it will harm my car to run a 2.9 without reprogramming
is this somthing that i can have my dealership do with their equiptment?
would i have to buy a piggyback system or anything?
im still fairly new to the pully swapping idea sorry about the questions
either way i am in:twothumbs
06blackg85ss 05-06-2006, 06:07 PM if you can get me a 2.8 to fit the gm hub..... I"m in
GeoChevyCobalt 05-06-2006, 09:16 PM I will be in too if it can fit the GM hub. What do you need to get this going? I would like a 2.8 and possible a 2.7. I have micrometers and even a federal gage. I have the right equipment to measure the GM hub. The calipers I have can measure down to .01mm and .0001 in. Would that be good enough? Let me know and I will take my belt off and measure away.
EDIT* my calipers are not long enough. I measured the inside hole and got 0.7825 in 19.88mm. To measure the hub properly I will need calipers with longer fingers. I could use the federal gage but that would be too hard with out a known flat surface.

Just buy stage1 and get your own pulley. Having a smaller pulley without the stage doesn't give you the full potential.
K-Train04RL 05-07-2006, 11:03 PM stage one 1 + 2.8 and 2.7 seem to be working realllllly well
GeoChevyCobalt 05-08-2006, 02:03 AM LOL. Well that would not work. I live in oregon near Salem. You are about ~2661 mils away. I might have to go to a local machine shop and see what they can make for me.
