Just as my last poll (Over 50 results thx guys) showed I was getting tired of having my "plain" feeling cobalt, I one upped myself tonight! In a great and amazing show of professional pimpism, I got a set of the charcoaled 18 inchers off an SS/SC tonight. I went by Domino's and saw it and decided to go in and tell the guy about the forum. Turns out to be a girl so I buy a pizza. Then I offer to switch rims letting her know how much better my 17 inch polished would look on her car (They really did tho) Hers was red. I let her know about the forums and ended up switching one of each rim so she could see. She agreed, so me and my buddy swapped out all four of mine for hers. Wow I am in love I need to clean up the tires with some armor all, so I will post better pics of how it looks all put together tomorrow night. Oh and whoever threw away my 200 dollar pint of paint in Waxahachie I had sitting on my porch I am going to ******* kill you! I was saving that for when I get an SS/SC spoiler! Anyway check it out and tell me what you think.
And like I said earlier, I let her know about this Saturday you Dallas, Texans, and she wants to come out too. So lets do it this Saturday and stop playin around! I can't wait so if you guys don't move to organize quicker, we gonna go anyway!!!!

Do domestic owners a favor... trade in the Cobalt before you continue to ruin it, buy a Civic and join the masses of people who have absolutely no style.

 

I have all the mesh for a front bumper trying to find a paint booth that will let me 2 component the mesh so it wont chip... I don't want a silver front grill, I wanna do it black or at least very dark gray... Any tips would be greatly appreciated in the dallas area I just moved here

the 18's dont do it for me. I think the other ones look much better. since u have the 18's now they both have that matelic color like your car which looks odd and not flowing like the polished rims did.

but as long as ur happy thats all what counts.

 

Aight now bashing the front bumper = gay. that car is 3 months old... after one month the whole front end got smashed in... my ss with fog lights bumper is in a body shop in VA... so is my old hood. See how the left driver headlight has condensation? those headlights are new too... give me some time to finish the damn work rofl... That is a 2500 front end you see there... 1000 for front end + molding (fiberglass) + paint, 300 for head lights, 350 for radiator and hosing and installation, 259 for hood, 200 more for paint for hood, 100 more for labor, 220 more to refit the front bumper cuz it almost fell off after I moved (shitty labor in VA, had to build custom brackets) If you guys can say that looks shitty after all its been through... **** ya! sorry I don't have mommy paying my 300 dollar a month insurance and just moved from va and spent a **** load on that too (over 2g's) I know it looks a **** load better then other cobalts I have seen on here with primered parts already put on...

from my experience on here.. even the 18 year olds on this board pay their own car payments and insurance.

first of all . their are no primed parts on a cobalt to a owner on this site excepd for the girl from cobalt-addiction. (sorry forgot your name and to lazy to look it up ). and thats cuz shes getting a whole new kit on it.

2ed. their is only 1 person who didnt pay for their cobalt and i believe they sold it and got a diffrent car not too long ago.

3rd. it doesnt matter how much your parts costed. if you pimped (crash) ur ride thats your fault and thats what insurence is for.

4th. the 20 dollar head light mods make the car look great as well and that is 2480 cheaper then your front bumper.

5th. dont get me wrong. at ur original and u like it.

 

Correction I didn't wreck THIS one, I wrecked my yellow one. Insurance paid for that. This one was hit and run in a conveince store about 1 and 1/2 months after that happened I was afraid to claim it on insurance. I had to pay out of pocket for something I didn't do so show some sympathy =\

Yes there is a primered hood on here somewhere I saw it
And primered parts are gay... dont put them on if you can't paint them... depreciates the look fo your car... Primered parts are for hondas and neons.,..
