Well im abit pissed off. I paid james half of the money for 4 new tires in the winter said they would be in mid march. Every week he kept saying they will be in next week, just found out his supplier fucked up and they r on back order for 3 weeks....i wont be here, either ill be house hunting in edmonton or to damn busy to get new tires installed. So im getting 75% if my money back from him tonight....i got $450ish to buy 4 new tires...otherwise im gonna have to use my winters until mid june. So does anyone know of any stores that i can get 214/45/18R

I got a buddy in digby that sells tires, he sells maxxis tires. I have them on my car and they are awesome. Probably $650 for 4 tires. They have been on my car for a year and there isnt even any wear showing yet, plus they are good in the rain. His number is 1-902-245-5858. Call him from 8am-5pm monday to friday.

Let me know how you make out

The name of the tire that i have is maxxis MA-Z1 Victra

thx jerren....if florence doesnt get the tires tomorrow or friday ill give him a call. Well florence went to see james to get the money back. James knew i was pissed and was nice enough to give us back the money without a huge restock fee and she also mentioned how the dealership fucked my tint on my tail lights up and he gave us a free can of night shade. James if you read this, thanks! I wasnt pissed off at you tho...lol

I didn't really care for the stockers ! Little too much road noise for my liking !

we heard nothing for road noise but at least it is better than what they put on the turbocharged ones for stockers

autoworld if you want decent cheap ones, thats what i go with, i find no matter what low profile you run its gonna wear like a bastard anyway. otherwise if you dont mind ordering online, tirerack is awesome.

well you gotta look at the tire ratings on them too if you buy a 220 tire its not gonna last you more then one summer maybe two, anything higher is what you want.

the turbo charged ones run continetal tires they look great and expensive but then you read who makes them and your like "ohhhhh so they went cheap on the tires!" plus their tread wear rating is only 220 also

Well after work today I headed over to Dartmouth with a Friend that had a truck with the rims and old tires to get new ones ....and I got 225/40/18 at 136.00 a piece these tires are called hercules tires but from what they told me they are owned by Cooper tire and are one of the best tires for your buck..unless u really want to spend that close to $300 on one like Goodyear or BF Goodwich
So they started to find out the rims and tires where being a pain in the ass..probley because they haven't had new ones on the rim since The last owner got the car brand new from the dealer...Anyways after it was all done she looked at the price and said"If I knew they were going to be that hard to get on they would've been more"try $50 buck more on top of that price but she never did and she left it at the price....the really funny thing about that is I called them Yeasterday to ask them about tires and they had them in today for me...now that is what I call business with a smile
The place is called Barrington Tire and it is on Wright Ave in Dartmouth ..very nice people and great prices...now just for the test drive with these babies on to see how good they feel.

ouch!!!
cooper tire i hear has POOR line of tires!
i can get KDWs for $840.00 tax in, ballanced installed with nitro, and road side warrenty...
225/35/18 was the size i quoted.
but honestly should of looked at the rekin tires, they are made by michealin, they are a medium soft tire so they dont wear fast, but still sticky.
remember with the amount of hp and tq damien is running you wanna get into soft tires!
my next set of wheels are mickey thompson ET Street Radials lol, they are $379.99 a tire!

these are soft tires...and low profile too..we won't know how fast it wears until we use them...but that is a nasty price for four tires that u got chris..ouch!
anyway...I will just leave it at that and say that it beat that price and they were balanced and installed on the rim as well for the price

I got a set of General Exclaim UHP for $174 per tire 225/40/18, from O.K. tire in Halifax. I've only had driven on them for around 3k KMs, so I can't comment on the tread life, but the traction in the rain is like night and day compared to the stock perellis on the SS/NA.

I'm pretty sure it was $174 per tire, Can't rememeber the exact price and can't find my sales slip.
