okay, i have RAW CAI/JBP header/CTI DP/Vibrant cat-back/ stock 2007 tune.

i knew that gm makes these tunes rich already but at the same time when i added a full exhaust and intake it would lean things out a bit.

now my problem is in 2nd and 3rd gear WOT i would start at 11.3 AFR and start dropping as low as 10 and under (since AEM cant read past 10) so i just flat out sit at 10 WOT, and at idle im around 14.6-15.6 (most the time it sits at 15.2 15.1. and the odd times at idle it leans out at 16-17 AFR which from ppl i talked to said is a lean missfire.

to me that sounds REALLLLLLLLY DAM rich at WOT and dangerous from what i understand. i dont even what to know what my car ran STOCK.

so please let me know what you think......do i not go WOT till i get tuned?

really? lower than 10s??, and if im with gms pig rich tune why am i missfireing lean at idle?

 

your fine, if your not comfortable tune it or if you want to lean it out more get a 3 prong plug they tend to lean the car out i used zex till i got tuned, people will flame zex but i had 25,000 on them with no problems. remember if you lean out the car with stock tune the light check engine light will come on.

 

zex = garbage. many people have melted them on LSJ engines. just because one person gets away with playing russian roulette doesnt mean you should play too.

and 10.0 is not "dangerous" by any means. Exactly the opposite. you just arent making as much power as you could be.
