If I upgraded my TC to GMPP Stage 1 would I still qualify for D-Stock? Any theories? Then is it STX? I'm so confused.

What does Stage 1 consist of for the TC exactly?

I'm thinking it will probably be street mod, but it depends.

someone said that for the solstice/ other cars that got the kit before the ss/tc, there was an option to have the kit installed from the factory as an option (like a sunroof). If that is the case for the cobalt, wouldnt it still be considered "Stock" (and be placed in Dstock)?

I presume you are refering to SCCA solo rules.

Not a theory; The fact is NO.

A Cobalt is not a Solstice. It was not a factory option on the Cobalts in 08 or 09, so no, it would not be considered stock.

The problems is the sensor. The tune you can run CSP I'm pretty sure. Not sure what a new sensor would do to you, that might be enough to bump you to street mod. You might be there anyway. Rules for boosted cars and tunes, mods, etc are a little more complex.
