well i'm offically a ******* i was on my way home and i was doing 35 in a residental area and i was going through an intersection and checked left and right and looked back forward and theres this HUGE hill in the road i couldn't see cause i was coming off of a hill and bam... my buddy with a yellow ss was just getting out of his car and i guess all 4 of the wheels came off the ground and bam and i cracked the plastic peice on the intercooler. so i need to find a good cheap replacement and i'm not going stock so if you guys have any suggestions please i need some good ones.

 

I did the crazy Steve ic, a lot of people had problems with them fitting but my ic was real good fit. We had to modify the side mounting tabs a little bit but that’s it. Construction was top notch and price was right.

Get Synapses IC fits perfectly and the core is 600 hp Garrett core not a $70 made in China Ebay core. I bought the Crazy steve IC and it did not fit at all. Hit the condensor and did not even come close to lining up with the pipes. Just spend the extra $220. ( $500 shipped) You really get what you pay for in this case!!! My car was apart for a whole month over that BS with that POS IC.

 

Make your own intercooler... I did got it on welded fit, and mounted for less than $200

 

if your not worried about the money Hahn has a intercooler for like 800$ and it supposed to give 20-30HP

These cars are front heavy, give it gas before hitting the jump so you land more level!

 

 

Considering the core is a Garrett which is a high end expensive core and the fabrication that goes into the end tanks It is a bargain IMHO.

 

Terminator if your intercooler ends up being better than mine I will fully admit it. But I can truly say mine works great for now.

92* ambient temps, IAT2 at full boost 108* quickly dropping back down to 92* within 3 seconds. SO it works!

It is going to be a hot one on thursday probably 93*+ so we will see. My IC core is 24 X 8X 3.5 and the bars on it are really large so I know it flows really well just have to see how well it cools.
