sportlines on 07 ls

update and pics at bottom of page

ok, so since its dead in here. and i plan on putting sportlines on my ls this weekend. just thought id ask for some tips. ive studied half cents how to. and im confident. but i read on another site you can loosen the 21mm strut tower before you jack the car. to save headaches on the strut removal from spring. is this a good idea? would be done under full load, so i guess im wondering if any threads will have to much pressure if i do that. or should i just go with the strap wrench method. any advice, short of "just buy coilovers" would be appreciated!

i did it that way without any adverse effects, but i had taken the assembly completely out, put the compression springs on, moved them abit so i could get the assembly back in with them on and but it back in. from there i took the top bolt off

I've still got my mudflaps on there as well...I suppose that would look a lot better, just forget about it.

Mine took me about 3-4 hours not knowing what I was doing (first time with suspension) and I took a few breaks as well. I know they have to settle still, but it looks like there is still a bit of gap...what size wheels and tires do you have?
