Somebody told me it is not a good idea to use a pressure washer under the hood becaue the fact of there being all of the electronics. Is this true? What Should I do? I mean alot of people clean the enginge using a pressure washer.

 

many times on my car I have sprayed simple green over almost everything (pcm not duh) and then let it sit for a bit, and take a garden hose and just rinse off the green. never had a problem

 

i don't know about there but up here we have car washes with specifics hoses to wash the engine bay.

 

they sell an engine degreaser at auto zone that u spray all over the bay and just let it sit and work

 

ok awesome. I just got my car from the shop. I had to get the clutch replaced. Which I got a spec 3 which is AWESOME. BUt under the hood looks pretty dirty. Now it does

 

simple green....agitate with brush... and then a nice little spray down with a hose...
