I believe I saw a Cobaltss.net sticker in the rear window. A black two door Cobalt with fart can. Traveling North on Route 51.

I happen to own a Ion Red Line. I happened to be in the right lane, minding my own business. I happened to hear you go wide open throttle and take off, in the left lane. I happened to, uh, stay at 40 or 45 or so, as my girlfriend is in the car, and I know that there are cops in the area.

And then the cop pulls us both over for "drag racing." And the cop gives us both "careless driving" tickets.

Would've it been hard for you to say...hey...I really wasn't racing the guy in the Saturn, but that silver Caviler?

Had the same happen to me at the first of the year. I took it to court and got it dismissed. If I wre you i would do the same, specially if you have a clean record.

 

I do have a clean record. The cop says there's a "video." I'm gonna try to get a hold of it, before it disappears.

Would've been nice for the driver to say, hey, officer...this kid (in the Red Line) wasn't racing me.

I had my cruise on, at 45, when he went WOT and passed me. And, as you said, I am royally upset.

But I'll have my day in court. Go in with a shirt and tie, explain my situation. If I still am found guilty, I'm appealing with a lawyer. I do NOT need these points, as my record's clean.

I love my Cobalt cousins...but this fellpw soured my view. And it wasn't even a real SS...just a coupe with a fart can.

that kinda sucks.. i got a reckless driving ticket last month actually. went 2 court, im a good boy..so they just made me paid court cost! trust me dude, if u as clean and stuff which i believe u are as u say..u have nothing 2 worry about. I had like freakin 6 tickets and i still got blessed

BWR, I'm sure it'll turn out. Just pissed that this kid wouldn't be a man and say he passed me WOT...while I did nothing.

I hope he (the Cobalt owner) reads this, and learns from it.

Since you posted this BS on multiple forums, I will call your BS on multiple forums. Here you say it is a 2 door with a .net sticker in the window, over on RL forums you say it is a 4 door with a cobaltss .com sticker in the window. Either way its BS stop spreadin it around

No, it's not BS, I've run into this kid before. It's a 2 door base I believe with a fart can and stickers. I didn't know that he had a forum sticker in the back window. I know he's got a sticker there but I thought it was a ricer sticker for some car part or something. (Maybe the pissed-off lawnmower exhaust he has.)

At any rate, I know who you mean Jon and yes, the kid is a real jackass. I don't know who he is, but I see him on that side of town a lot.

If you've ever been pulled over, for something you didn't do, you might recall being shaken up. I was less concerned with what the other driver had, than WhyTF I was pulled over.

It's a coupe and it's a base. I've had run ins with the jackass before, almost totaled my car because of his mad fart can driving skillz...I sent you a PM on the Redline forums, let me know if I can be of some help. I've fought a bogus ticket before.

Well if you really where not doing anything fight it. Video evidence if it exists will prove your innocence/guilty. Take it to court if you really where not racing anyone. If you where the truth shall prevail, and oyu have no one to blame but yourself.

 

Oh, I'm fighting this. Need to get the info from alleycat on how to get the video evidence, if it even exists.

I REALLY just wanted to make this post as I saw the dude's window sticker, and maybe he'll realize that, some times in life, it's, you know, mature to fess up and tell the cop: "Hey...I might've been going a little fast, but I wasn't racing this Saturn. Or he wasn't racing me." Either way, he would've gotten a ticket, but saved me some hassel. But he couldn't even look at me, after the cop left.

Yet you're right. Justice will prevail.

 

If it goes to court and you get a court appointed attorney (I think you need to look into this before the court date) They will get ahold of that evidence for you.
