Questions about my new SS

These are probably some pretty noobie questions but i gotta ask, ive been searching all night. Apparently i bought my car with Gm Stg2 installed. Could i just throw a smaller pulley on and run it with the stg2 tune? I also plan on doing the dual pass and hatrickstu mod this week. Would those 2 cooling mods be efficient enough to cool down a 2.9 pulley? Also would stg2 injectors be good for a 2.8 pulley???

2.9" with those cooling mods and 42s, should be ok.
2.8" and 42s, no.

Best to get a custom tune when running 2.9" to be safer.

So i might as well just get 60s and a 2.7 with a custom tune?

just get 60s injectors and a 2.8 pulley and 1 step colder plugs from ottp and since u got the stage 2 belt already ur good to go and get a tune from ottp and bam that will be a good start. then get an extra h.e with a dual pass to start with. then go from there.

You'll get used to it...traction is a real issue with this car thanks to it's instatorque. My suggestion is the OTTP Rotated Mounts

hptuners. buy it and learn it... or atleast make friends with someone near you who has it.

OTTPerformance.com will have everything you need for a 2.8" set up.

and no, the rotated trans mounts do not have nearly the vibes that the poly ones.
