One of our suppliers has a new brand of HID Kits and we bought a couple to see how they are.

I have 2 9007 Hi/Low 8k kits that i will sell for 100 each shipped.

The kits come with a full warranty.

I would like 2 testers to try these out and give us reviews that is why we are selling so cheap!

Any interested :twothumbs

Thanks

They are Bi-Xenon.

currently having a small issue with wiring that i will address tomorrow.

turns out it was a bad ground.

ease of installation: i would rate a 2 out of 5. it's basically plug and play, though i did have to swap the blue and white wires in the headlight plug (easy to do with a paper clip)

these HIDs seem top notch. they turn on immediately with no flicker or flare up, though the ballasts create some static in the radio reception until they're warmed up.

the hi/lo feature is a single bulb with a magnetic telescoping action. it works instantly and very well. it doesn't change the brightness of the bulb, but it does change the angle of the beam to what would be "high beam" for regular halogen bulbs. this preserves the "flash to pass"

i will have some pictures and a video up in probably the next two hours or so.

i'm thinking i am personally not a fan of the 8000K color as the light is too blue-ish for me. i could compare it to those really bright LED flashlights, where if you look directly into the beam it's a blinding cool white, but if you shine it on something, it reflects with a tint of blue. yellow reflective signs look like tennis ball flourescent green and white license plates look light blue.

if NGA decides to carry this brand and someone wants 8000K, i would happily trade for some 6000K bulbs.

before you flame about glare, see the silverstar pics below. there is glare in all exterior pictures, just that it's brighter on the HID ones. in person, it's not that bad.

actually the silverstars are quite bright. it's just the camera setting that makes them look poopy brown.

i don't have a pic of the silverstars against the garage door. the door is white. the camera settings make it look bluer than it looks in person. the interior shots are probably the truest representation.

look just like in the above pics. They are awesome. I have 4300s though. Be prepared to ground the kit really well and to rewire the high/low beam wires as mentioned earlier.

yes! grounds are important in this car. i'm thinking of running a dedicated ground all the way to the trunk.

yes, the cutoff is not sharp like projectors, but really the "spill" light is pretty well contained. i haven't been flashed by anyone yet.

Sorry took awhile to report on mine, but i had the second test set. The only issue was switching the blue and white wire. They turn on right away, brights switch on right away, warm up quick. will have pics later
