slowswap 05-31-2009, 11:03 AM I don't know how you got 270 out of a 2.9. You may see another 10-15 whp is my guess.
BLAZIN07SS 05-31-2009, 11:05 AM where the fuck did you get the hybrid blower??????
occsdude 05-31-2009, 11:26 AM where the fuck did you get the hybrid blower??????

strong motor and the blower, how else can i run so much timing and have no knock
i will say this... its from a Time attack cobalt that GM were running test on there where 7 of them made
i have no reason to lie :)
ecotecturbo 05-31-2009, 11:56 AM 275 whp is my guess
Sizzle06 05-31-2009, 11:58 AM Post pics of the blower please

yep, word is a 2.8 pullied car on stock blower with ported head made 335whp. i have seen no proof but i would damn sure like to!
SlowLSJ 05-31-2009, 12:32 PM well am off guys wish me luck!!
275?!? that makes me feel reallll good
BLAZIN07SS 05-31-2009, 12:33 PM 285whp is my guess btw
ecotecturbo 05-31-2009, 12:35 PM Make sure you post your dyno numbers
SlowLSJ 05-31-2009, 11:16 PM 262hp/265TQ
somthing isnt right it shouldnt of made that much tq and the HP is low could the dyno be off?
the video will be up in a sec :(
heres the video

nicksredline 05-31-2009, 11:25 PM ouch is it the tune??? something happened or was it a diffrent dyno by chance??
Darkmanx 05-31-2009, 11:27 PM how much timing , you running?
SlowLSJ 05-31-2009, 11:34 PM ouch is it the tune??? something happened or was it a diffrent dyno by chance??
diffrent dyno.... from what i hear the DYNOJET reads all kinda diffrent numbers
ok so i made 250.2TQ before could it of been the heat?
am running 26 degress of timing
xCobalt05x 05-31-2009, 11:41 PM have no clue
Darkmanx 05-31-2009, 11:45 PM doubt it , did you jump on the dyno as soon as you got there after a long drive?
EXsoccer1921 05-31-2009, 11:46 PM "26 degrees of timing.. on 94 octane/ but its mixed with 110 right now"
that, is a little bit interesting. are you switching around your fuel a lot?? the "but its mixed with 110 right now" kinda made me think that you aren't always running a 94/110 mix. inwhich case you may not have the proper octane level to be pulling 26 degrees. isn't the best amount for our cars right around 23???

it was tuned on 94 with no knock i mixed it with alittle 110 to be on the safe side 26 degrees it the limit timing wise for our cars

pretty much...... i drove 100 miles and sat in the sun with the cooling fans running.. car shut off for about hr it was 78F here today on black top :(
BLAZIN07SS 06-01-2009, 12:03 AM i think its just the dyno, you should really always try and use the same dyno for consistency

yea i think your right
xCobalt05x 06-01-2009, 12:18 AM yeah, has to be a the dyno... only 4 whp more then my 2.2 w/ turbo runing 10psi would be kinda disapointing considering how rare that blower is
Darkmanx 06-01-2009, 12:31 AM ^^^with 50m0re wtq
ralliartist 06-01-2009, 01:38 AM
always use the same dyno. The only reason to dyno is either to tune or to see your gain. By switching dyno's, you are just wasting your money.
