Thats bananas, great numbers. Usually Mustang dynos read lower than dynojets and you pulled sick numbers. Stock 09>08? Seems like it!

How can that be if they use the exact same engine/turbo set up on both years.

...what did they just lubricate the rollers or something. Thats HIGH for a stock TC.

I guess this just shows you the difference dyno's have on the same car. every dyno is different

You guys really need to read up on the standard GM uses to certify the engine to 260 hp. Basically the engines make 260hp +/- ~3%, verified on known accurate dynos in very controlled conditions. The engines aren't over/under rated.

I'd try a different dyno too, just to confirm. Not that you'll be disappointed to see lower numbers or anything.

doesnt matter what dyno he uses as long as he consistantly uses the same dyno after modding to see how much gain he is really getting. This is his baseline, and he will only go up from here. but just dont go posing in the official LSJ/LNF throwdown with your extremely high dyno results after a tune lmao

But do they test every engine (100% quality inspection) on an engine dyno after it is assembled?
