Obviously you read my thread....so you should know I said I'm having linkage issues with my new STS. I bet I've taken 20 passes now in my car ever and I'm finally getting through the gears MOST of the time. Couple more adjustments and I'll be good. Thanks for commenting on how slow my car is when it's on both the 1/8th and 1/4 list for fastest LNF's.

I might as well quit and just throw you the keys to my car to prove what it's REALLY capable of. :P I'm still getting used to the car and working through significant linkage issues and even a knocking suspension. I've been racing for YEARS dude. Not just in street cars either. (Mostly Pro Street 12.50) I know what I'm doing. Leave it at that til you have something to offer the site more than I'm not fast enough. Oh an the track I race at.....commonly known as one of the shitter ones around. My SC was running 13.70's @ 105 in Seattle and I could only hit 14.1 @ 101 at this track.

I said Blow off Valves! actually Valve since my block off plate :)

but i just got a CEL because of that yesterday. put a spring behind it and the seal, swapped ECU's back and forth and CEL went away :lol:

Shoulda went to the track last night eric. JD; Jay; a buddy with that STI and myself went. We all raced all night with a few breaks to cool off, chill; adjust linkage etc. Was a blast!

yea i wanted to go bad but theres this thing where people say mortgage trumps track...kinda sucks but i guess.

the money i did have set aside is for a race tomorrow in austin i been planning to run for weeks now so i cant miss that. im hoping to PR.

They were all between 2.23 and 2.50. Right at 2.3 was my average I'd say......at a different track I was pulling 2.1's and a couple MPH faster on average.

90% of why my times are not faster is 1st and 2nd gear. My linkage issue is almost solely going into 2nd(kinda 3rd too) but 2nd is the killer. So in preparation for basically expecting to grind/miss 2nd gear.....I've never NLS'd into 2nd and I shift about half speed into it to make sure its set before I nail it. So it bogs quite a bit in 2nd.

I'm pretty sure I'm giving up 4-5 tenths in my first 2 gears with this problem. I'm so close now with my linkage I really don't have any more excuses next time at the track! That would put me in the very low 13's or even 12's. DR's or slicks 12's will be easy once I can find some 16's or 17's to fit over the Brembos.

I need wider tires too(I'm only on 225's) ordered 235's and they sent me 225's. :( I was so pissed but so excited to just drive my car I just put em on.

i need drag bags for the rear and drag radials up front...already have solid mounts....just no tractions lol. i have to take off from an idle :(

dude. i have faster times than those 1/8 posted. but no need to tell everyone. there is always someone faster but if they dont tell anyone, doesnt mean it never happened. and yea, my 1/8 and 1/4 times are faster than yours.
