I don't think it looks so bad, in a way it resembles the looks of a BMW. All I can say is ditch the sedan tail lamps and throw on the G8 tail lamps. BUt this is only an enthusiast rendering.

You all are wrong about the back window being too big. It's too vertical. Compare a Cobalt coupe to a sedan. I do when I try to figure out wich SS I'm driving daily. The back seat roofline needs to be shortened, and the back window longer/more horizontal.

I will agree that it the rendering looks similar to a 1 series, but the 1 series back window is more vertical.
