So i just got home from the dealership, as i said before in the General Cobalt forum i was going to get a used SS/SC, but after some wheeling and dealing with a sales agent at O'Regans (We bought 4 cars from her before), i come out of it with a brand new 2009 Cobalt SS/TC ! Picking it up Monday, since i'm too busy this weekend! Gonna be a few sleepless nights this weekend! I can't wait for monday!

Took it home for 22k taxes in etc.. Traded in my 03 Malibu.

It's a coupe, and imperial metallic blue (if thats what they call it). I like the color, wasn't really picky since i didn't want to pass up the price. Only thing it doesn't have is the sunroof and high rise wing, but i'm not going to sit and complain.

Unfortunately it does not have LSD... But i'm not taking it to the drag strip anytime soon lol, so i think i can do without it for now.

As for plans, none as of yet, just going to put some money together and see where that takes me. Although the GF already said she'd tint the windows so i'll probably do that, but performance wise, nothing as of yet... Oh ya, my CobaltSS.net decals are on the way so i'll put them on as well. Performance will come though!

 

congrats man....I just installed my dejon intake a upper charge pipes....You should look into these as well

 

Lsd won't really effect straight line performance. It's most noticable acceling trough a hard turn.

Congrates! Just give about 500 miles to break in the clutch and you won't have any problems. From what have heard it is pretty rare to find one with out a sunroof. Allot of people are pissed because they couldn't find one with out. I know when I was looking at a coupe I couldn't find one with out the high rise, and I can't stand that big ass thing. I always opt for the LSD cars but its not a big deal and won't really hurt you at all.

That blue IS a nice color.

There is an electric blue colored SS Camaro 6spd for sale at the local chevy dealer...........$36,000 on the sticker...wow, but it's beautiful!!!!

 

damn man.... when i went in i was like.. only thing i care about is i dont want black or maroon, and i have to have the lsd. I can break free in 2nd on hard shifting enough to feel the lsd lock up... maybe an upgrade you'll want to get down the road... still a great price.

 

I want to tint my windows, she just offered to pay.
