I know this isnt cobalt related but I figured they may share the same system. My GF has an 07 G6 GT, and we bought it used and it came with no remotes. My car came with 2 remotes and she cant drive my car because its stick so there is no real need for the extra remote. I was on ebay looking at remotes and they share the same S/N so does anybody know how to program a remote for her car instead of mine.

you need to take it to the dealer or locksmith, it requires some equipment to be programmed

 

If the car didnt come with power locks the keyfob is useless for her car.

 

X2, but if it does then you have to dake it to the dealer to get programmed, should cost like $20.
